Wholesale commerce
ATL
Meridian’s sales team could sell. Their software could not keep up. Pricing lived in spreadsheets, stock lived in an older ERP, and fulfilment was a nightly argument. Atlas was built as the system they actually work in.
Challenge
The storefront was not the product.
Off-the-shelf commerce assumed retail. Meridian needed account-specific pricing, warehouse rules and a way for operations to correct a bad order without calling engineering.
Approach
Start from the daily jobs.
We mapped the morning of a buyer, a picker and an accounts lead. The first release was the smallest system that could take an order from quote to warehouse without a side channel.

Solution
One operational path.
Atlas holds catalogues, customer price books and fulfilment states in one place. Integrations push confirmed orders into the warehouse system and bring stock levels back the same day.
Scope
- Account-based catalogues
- Price books and approvals
- Order states operations can trust
- Warehouse integration
- Internal admin for exceptions
Outcome
The team stopped maintaining a parallel spreadsheet for live orders. Exceptions still happen. They now happen in the same system as the work.
